The simple answer is - imagine taking all the best bits of camping and losing all the not so good bits. The Contemporary Yurt is a bright, spacious circular structure consisting of a wooden frame with a lattice wall, a durable and waterproof fabric cover and a solid wooden framed locking front door. Although generally classified as a tent, the Contemporary Yurt is far more spacious, stronger and also weather tight.

Inside you will find high quality fittings and furniture, and a log burner for warmth along with all the cooking facilities you will need. You walk around the yurt (without any stooping) on a solid wooden floor. You sleep in a full size bed (and all large yurts include a king sized bed). The Contemporary Yurt is topped by a 5 foot diameter skylight dome. Imagine how special going to bed looking up at the stars is! Similarly, waking in the morning to a blue sky is equally magical. The skylight dome floods the yurt with natural light (for a lie-in simply use the bedroom partitions).
