A short walk from your yurt is our new, fresh amenity block with seperate male, female and disabled facilities including toilets, hot showers, hairdryers and mirrors.

Your Yurt is fully equipped with everything you may require for your stay. Your Yurt comes with full size beds (all large yurts include a king sized bed) with warm duvets and pillows.

Large yurts have partitions to create separate bedrooms.

For cooking you have a camping gas stove and all the crockery and cutlery you require. A cool box with ice packs that can be exchanged for fresh ones at the café bar.

Tables and chairs, safe candle holders and lanterns to light up the dark night and a log burner to keep you warm when the nights are slightly chilly.

Few modern campsites allow any sort of fire. We love the crackling of a campfire and the smell of wood smoke in the air, it is part of the essential Yurtcamp nature holiday experience. We positively encourage you to make a fire in one of our firepits and enjoy the primal satisfaction it offers. Many a tale is told and memories made around the camp fire.

• Torches
• Sunblock, hats, hot weather gear
• Wellies (especially children?s), wet weather gear
• Medicines & personal medical kit
• Books, paints/pens, musical instruments, toys & games
• A telescope for stargazing through the dome at night!
• Maps of Devon, Dartmoor and the surrounding area
• Folding chairs if you want individual seats you can move around
• Additional storage boxes/baskets for your food/belongings if you feel it necessary
